AP Police SI Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2021: Andhra Pradesh is soon going to notify the applicants regarding the exam dates, so it is essential for the students to tighten their shoelaces and work hard for the exam. Those who are applying for the post of sub-inspector should know what is the current AP Police SI exam pattern for the year 2021 as the exam board always introduces some changes in the AP Police SI syllabus.
AP Police SI Syllabus 2021
Andhra Pradesh Police SI pattern 2021 is as follows:
- Preliminary exam: The examination process starts with the preliminary exam, which is of qualifying nature. In this, the applicants are required to run for 5 km within 25 minutes. The conditions are different for different categories like SC, ST, and OBC. They have to meet the requirement of this test to get qualified for the next step.
- Physical Efficiency Test: After the preliminary exam, the applicants are tested for their physical endurance and ability which is known as AP Police SI Physical Efficiency Test or PET. The candidates are asked to perform various physical pursuits which include long jumps, running, shot put and 800-meter run, etc. the candidates are required to pass this exam to step further for the selection process.

- Written exam: After both the qualifying exams, the candidate has to give a written exam which has four section. The marks of all the section are as follows:

The AP Police SI syllabus 2021 is as follows:
- English: it includes Basic English, comprehensions, sentence building, spotting the error, letter writing, paragraph writing, precise, translation, etc. the main motive of this paper is to check the knowledge of the candidate regarding the subject.

- General Awareness: this is to check the awareness of the candidate regarding the social issues and environment around him. This paper includes the following subjects:
- Knowledge about the old Cultural history of India and Indian national movements.
- National and international economic affairs, planning of the government for future, etc.
- Polity and Indian constitution-relatedd questions
- Geography of Indian territory and other related questions
- General science includes physics, chemistry, biology, etc. to check the basic understand related to it.

- Telugu: it is a regional paper and only the regional questions will be asked but as objective type questions
- Arithmetic and Reasoning: this is to check the mental ability and decision making of the candidate. The paper includes wage and work, height and distance, data interpretation, analogy, figures, triangles, quadrilaterals, trigonometry, algebra, etc.

Follow present rules and better to updated from old version. The syllabus and exam pattern has completely changed. No 5 km run at all and includes a preliminary exam in the selection process. Don’t be old follow nex version.
